Inspiration

The inspiration behind MailRobo was to help event organizers and party planners manage their overwhelming inbox traffic. As frequent event organizers ourselves, we found it difficult to keep track of all the emails we received from vendors, sponsors, and attendees. With MailRobo, we aimed to simplify the email management process, saving time and reducing stress for event organizers.

What it does

MailRobo is an email traffic control robot that automates the management of emails related to event planning and organization. Its features include automatic email filtering, email prioritization, automatic replies, email forwarding, saving emails in separate folders, downloading attachments to a separate folder, and generating a management summary report to be sent to relevant authorities.

How we built it

We built MailRobo using UiPath, a robotic process automation tool. We started by mapping out the email management process and identifying pain points that could be automated. We then created a workflow using UiPath that incorporated the different features of MailRobo.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we ran into was ensuring that the robot could accurately filter and prioritize emails. We had to create a complex algorithm that could identify important emails based on sender, subject, and content. Another challenge was creating a workflow that was easy to use and intuitive for event organizers with varying levels of technical expertise.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating a tool that simplifies the email management process for event organizers. Our team was able to successfully integrate multiple features into one tool, allowing users to manage their inbox with ease.

What we learned

Through building MailRobo, we learned the importance of identifying pain points and automating processes that can be simplified. We also learned the importance of creating a user-friendly interface that can be used by people with varying levels of technical expertise.

What's next for MailRobo

In the future, we plan to expand the capabilities of MailRobo to include integration with popular event management software, such as Eventbrite and Cvent. We also plan to incorporate machine learning algorithms to improve the accuracy of email filtering and prioritization. Our goal is to make MailRobo the go-to tool for event organizers looking to simplify their email management process.
