Inspiration - We all know the feeling of indecisiveness when it comes to choosing where to eat. Sometimes, we're hungry but we don't know where to start. To address the issue of indecisiveness we focused on creating a solution that curates a personalist list of restaurants based on your personal preference (i.e. mood, cravings, etc...). Additionally, we showcase hidden gems and weekly restaurants to help users discover new favorites that other people also enjoy.

What it does - This app lets you choose the specific foods you want depending on mood and cravings of the user, rather than use general suggestions (like price, general types of food, etc).

How we built it - We used HTML, CSS, Javascript on the front end, and also used Typescript/Javascript (Botpress), Python for the database.

Challenges we ran into - We had some difficulties in implementing the database into the website, and also the chatbot ran into some server errors that are out of our hands.

Accomplishments that we're proud of - The database design that we have assembled, the competitive advantage we have over other competitors, and being able to work in such short time under tense pressure.

What we learned - Working together as a team, we have learned many new things, such as chatbot utility and working as a full stack development.

What's next for Lionlicious - Reviews for the users, Favorites and Dislikes from Restaurants, fully functional maps and individual food items + Quantities, Incentives for the reviews, Friends + Shareability
