Inspiration
We were inspirited by a bunch of educational applications where they allow the user to quickly and effectively learn the material and we wanted to make something like that.
What it does
It is a web application that is a series of lessons that are user generated that any user can make or share. Each lesson has a quiz attached to them with points. So we also include a point system so the more knowledge and more points you get, the higher place you can be on the leaderboard.
How we built it
We designed the website on Figma and coded it using HTML, CSS with Spring Boot as the backend framework.
Challenges we ran into
Our databases were not coexisting properly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We completed the frontend and have a user registration with a properly hashed password stored in the database.
What we learned
We learned a lot about Spring Boot, and frontend design.
What's next for Interactive Education Learning Tool
We would continue to work on the backend making sure we can produce a great user experience.
