Website for the creation, purchasing, and selling of 3D NFTs

Inspiration

NFTs have been in the news a lot recently, and we wanted to pioneer a brand new type of 3D NFT on a website.

What it does

This website allows users to browse a collection of 3D NFTs, and view interactive 3D models of each one. They can create an account to upload their own 3D NFTs, or purchase NFTs with cryptocurrency.

How we built it

We used HTML and CSS for the frontend and Node.js, Three.js, and MySQL for the backend.

Challenges we ran into

We had major challenges with the MySQL database, which was used for the account creation system.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the whole website, especially the custom incidium.tech domain and the SQL database backend. Also, the three.js to create 3D models was new to all of us, so we had to learn it as we went.

What we learned

We learned three.js 3D modeling and MySQL database.

What's next for Incidium

The major feature we want to implement next is the ability to actually sell NFTs you upload.
