Inspiration:

As a health facility user, we're facing the common challenges of cumbersome consultation processes, registration hassles, and medication management. We were inspired to revolutionize the healthcare experience. The pivotal moment came after winning the Alibaba Cloud AI Hackathon 2023, where we witnessed the transformative power of AI.

Learning Experience:

Our journey involved a deep dive into the world of AI, exploring innovative ways to address healthcare pain points. By collaborating with a circle of healthcare workers, we get positive feedback, learn firsthand about the challenges they faced, and gain insights that fuel our mission to create a solution.

Project Development:

Building Healtie began with harnessing the capabilities of AI for instant consultations, streamlined registration, appointment and medication reminders, ambulance bookings, and secure medical record access. Leveraging our hackathon-winning AI knowledge, we crafted a user-friendly interface that resonates with both patients and healthcare providers by creating two type of surveys, namely for health workers and end users (patients).

Challenges Faced:

The primary challenge was ensuring that AI served as a valuable reference tool rather than a definitive diagnostic solution. Overcoming skepticism about AI accuracy in the market required thoughtful design and robust communication strategies. We engaged with healthcare professionals to build trust, emphasizing that Healtie is a supportive tool, enhancing the human touch in healthcare.
