The inspiration behind the project was to explore new hardware. I came to hackBU to explore new things and discover new hardware. This was my first hackathon I attended and it was quite fun. The choice of the Leap Motion was because seeing the demos, albeit they are nothing like what it really is, caught my eye and convinced me to work with it. I feel the project was a huge success and I plan to work with the Leap Motion a lot more in the future. I hope that everyone can also enjoy it. Three days of hard work went into coding this project and it was well worth it. The features I am most proud of would be the fact that I got the robot.mousemove to recognize only the right hand, allowing me to use the right hand AND the left hand. This allowed me to be able to use a ton more applications with the Handy Jester Computer Controller (HJCC). Another thing I am proud about with the HJCC is that it utilizes all the different gestures that are possible using the Leap Motion. And the GUI and Instruction manual was cool too.
