Inspiration

What it does

Provides a website design and form flow using javascript and Google Firebase for mobile + web app notification. Visitors can choose to enter the office number and person they are looking for and a push notification is sent to their phone/website. (Server functionality isn't up yet right now though)

How we built it

Used Google Firebase CLI, Realtime Cloud Messaging API, and node.js nexmo library. nexmo is set up on a heroku server, and the main website run on firebase hosting.

Challenges we ran into

Connecting node.js to an html framework, sending push notifications to phones

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting the push notifications to send and setup the framework for server implementation

I helped with the concept, some of the HTML pages, and a portion of the app. After this project I have learned alot about app and web development.
