Inspiration

As easy as it may be to adopt an animal, it is also our responsibility to ensure that we provide them with the proper care and attention they need. Given the lack of emphasis on bird health, it is essential to create an environment where birds can thrive and live as healthy a life as dogs or cats, by providing them with the necessary care and resources.

We decided to focus on bird health and create a friendly app that tackles the lack of customized information available for pet care.

What it does

The project is a simple pet health inventory for bird owners to keep a track of their pet's calorie intake, supplements needed, vet contacts and first aid best practices. The app can help you understand and enhance your bird's diet, exercise, and behavior as well by saving their customized diet.

It can also provide you with valuable tips and advice on how to provide the best possible care for your bird, such as how to create a suitable living environment, how to identify and prevent common health problems, and how to provide appropriate nutrition and enrichment. With Fluffy, you can be the best friend to your birdy!

How we built it

Initial Wireframing - Figma and Canva Tech Stack - Flutter, Appwrite, Dart

Challenges we ran into

We tried using Appwrite Cloud for authentication for the first time and it was a challenge to integrate correctly with Flutter.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of inculcating UI design practices and functionality in the app from scratch in just two days.

What's next for FluffyCare

We aim to integrate Google Map API next to get real time access to vet locations near the user.
