VALID AND CRUCIAL TO THE OVERRAL GROWTH OF OUR COMMUNITIES, UNITED NATIONS HAVE STATED THAT 300M STUDENTS WILL BE OUT OF SCHOOL AND WONT HAVE BASIC LITERACY SKILLS BY 2030. THIS IS SAD AND WORRISOME. THAT IS WHY AT EDUCONNECT NETWORK WE THRIVES TO EMPOWER EVERY LEARNER BY CONNECTING THEM TO EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND RESOURCES AROUND THEM.

Overview This document provides an overview of the technology stack used in the development of the system.
Backend Node.js Description: Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform JavaScript runtime environment that executes JavaScript code outside of a web browser.
Usage in the System:
The backend of the system is built using Node.js. Node.js enables server-side JavaScript execution, allowing for scalable and efficient backend development. Express Description: Express is a minimal and flexible Node.js web application framework that provides a robust set of features for web and mobile applications.
Usage in the System:
Express is utilized as the backend framework to handle routing, middleware, and other web application functionalities. It simplifies the development of APIs and web services. Frontend React Description: React is a JavaScript library for building user interfaces. It allows developers to create reusable UI components and manage the state efficiently.
Usage in the System:
The frontend of the system is built using React. React enables the creation of interactive and dynamic user interfaces. Components are used for modularization and reusability, enhancing maintainability. Database Description: Provide details about the database technology used in your system (e.g., MongoDB,)
Deployment Describe how the system is deployed. Include details about the hosting platform we used Netlify
Challenges we ran into; One of the challenge was having to streamline our vision due to lack of time, another was how to work with students who might not have access to internet or smart devices to register for help, we will be working to build a system where student can send messages to us using short code text messages.
Accomplishments that we're proud of; within a short time the team has built our first demo prototype and currently have a few individuals and NGOs who buy into our vision and are ready to signup as volunteers.
What we learned; we learnt there is a huge gap between the quality of education and educational resources available to the majority of learners and we are passionate about helping to solve this problems.
What's next for EDUCONNECT NETWORK; EDUCONNECT will be organizing campaigns and promotions to have both volunteers and student sign up and benefit from our resources, we will also be working on having our system more accessible to serve more persons.
