Inspiration

I was inspired by a project I recall doing in the 7th grade where we had to survey students about various activities their families did and how sustainable they are. Looking back, having an automated system such as this one is far more efficient.

What it does

It’s a simple 5 question quiz about things that people can do to help save the planet, after you finish the quiz it will provide your score and personalized feedback about how you can improve.

How I built it

I built the product using JS fiddle involving CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.

Challenges I ran into

I struggled at the start with allowing button functionality, and fixed many glitches in incorrect scores and feedback that shouldn’t have been given. Most of these problems were solved by ensuring that each answer can only be answered once.

What we learned

I learned valuable lessons in how to change buttons visually and increase functionality, in the future, I hope to be able to have the screen change to results rather than have the results as a pop-up.
