Inspiration
Inspired by Civilization 6 and No Man's Sky. All of us are very big fans of the movie Dune so some references were made.
What it does
Creates a game that uses procedural generation to generate planets. Starting in your home planet, try and conquer the rest of the planets from resources generated in the planets you have already conquered
How we built it
Using Unity, following some video series to refresh our skills and introduce the engine to some members. The C# language is object oriented and is very suitable for the game we wanted to accomplish. One member had a lot of experience in Unity procedural generation so procedural planets are generated using perlin noise and mathematical techniques.
Challenges we ran into
Learning C# was a big challenge for some with little experience in it but we all managed to significantly contribute to the final project.

What we learned
Unity is a very powerful engine capable of a lot. However, the syntax is difficult to learn but once learnt many powerful application can be made.

Build up more resources, enemies and more planets
