Inspiration

We wanted to create a calm and creative space where people can bring their ideas to life. Many AI tools feel complicated or random, so we built DiceSea to make creativity more guided and relaxing. The ocean inspired us. its sense of flow, depth, and calm became the heart of the experience.

What it does

DiceSea turns ideas into visual stories. You describe a thought, and our system uses FIBO’s JSON-based model to build a clear visual scene. You can adjust camera angles, colors, and lighting using simple sliders and see your changes in real time. When you’re done, you can save or share your creation.

How we built it

We built DiceSea with React, TypeScript, and Next.js for smooth performance. Framer Motion adds soft transitions, and Three.js brings the ocean-inspired visuals to life. FIBO’s structured AI powers the generation, turning text into controlled visual scenes.

Challenges we ran into

Our main challenge was keeping the design simple while still offering control. We also had to make sure the real-time visuals stayed fast and smooth. Balancing creativity and performance took a lot of testing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud that DiceSea feels calm and easy to use. It lets anyone create visual stories without stress or confusion. The mix of AI, design, and emotion came together in a way that feels natural and human.

What we learned

We learned that structure helps creativity grow. We also learned how much emotion and calm design matter in a digital space.

What's next for DiceSea

Next, we want to make DiceSea a place for collaboration where people can create and share stories together. We’ll also add smarter AI and richer visuals for deeper storytelling.
