Dell Front panel control panel reverse engineering

For this hackathon our group decided to reverse engineer a dell server front control panel. While we were collecting parts in order to come up with ideas, we found an unused dell server control panel card with an LCD screen and lights. Upon a group decision we decided to try to reverse engineer the control panel and try to connect it to the super computer. This process was tedious as we poked and tested the circuit board. We eventually mapped out most of the information for the output connector that connected to the computer. This however led to more problems that eventually took too much time to finish fully.
