We got inspired by the lack of precision of COVID case numbers. We thought it was important to know how many people are really infected.
What it does
Our app will track cases using NLP on social media posts.
How I built it
we are still building it, but we are using python.
Challenges I ran into
Building the model is quite challenging.

We managed to scrape tweets about COVID19 and map them with plotly.
What I learned
How to make interactive maps with python, how to scrape tweets, and a lot about machine learning and clustering
What's next for COVIDTracker
We will continue to work on algorithms :-)
