Inspiration## Inspiration
The online course registration has always been bare-bones and unappealing. But it has become so much more noticeable to me at the start of this semester, when dozens of first year students were lining up outside our advisor’s office to register their courses.
What it does
This project is a course management system designed for educational institutions. It allows students to choose their completed courses, then it suggests remaining courses according to their major.
How we built it
The project is built using Django for both its front-end and back end due to its simplicity and versatility, also it uses tailwind to make it easier to manage for mobile, and I used _Catppuccin _ link for the theme.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge I faced during this project is to filter the data from the databases in a way that leaves only the needed information.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making the website look good on both mobile and desktop was challenging, and i like the way it turned out to be.
What we learned
This project helped me understand how Django works and how to rout between pages based on form submission.
What's next for Course offering
I am looking to add a calendar system that can be automatically generated according to the left courses and the amount of credits the user desires.
