Inspiration

I was inspired to create this web app by research I had seen about the importance of communication and networking between people of different backgrounds and how that networking is proven to result in more creative and effective solutions

What it does

It is a simple messing software where each user selects the language and then all information and messages are provided to them in their language of choice.

How I built it

I built it using HTML5, CSS and Javascript with the use of Google Cloud Firebase as an external database for information storing, and DeepL language translation API for the translation requests.

Challenges we ran into

I didn't run into many challenges apart from the time constraint given the complexity and volume of code.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm really happy with how the translation functions work, getting it to work properly was definitely not easy but it worked out really nicely in the end.

What we learned

I learned a lot about the process of competing in a hackathon!

What's next for Core Connect

Core Connect has so much room for expansion, it would be very easy to expand from 6 languages to much more, and other features could be added to make it even more useful to international organizations.
