Inspiration

We were inspired by the work of nonprofits to help people in need, so we created a website to make it easier to support those programs.

What it does

Connect2Give is a website that connects volunteers and donors to non-profits using a filter and provides incentives for why people should volunteer and donate.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We collaborated on Repl.

Challenges we ran into

A huge challenge that we ran into is that most of the time our code wasn't working the way we wanted it to. There would either be errors or the website format was messed up. Debugging was difficult for us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our intensive research into each nonprofit provides viewers with an accurate description of each organization. Additionally, because our design is appealing, viewers will have an easy time navigating the site.

What we learned

We learned how to identify reliable nonprofits and link them to our website such that they were relatively easy to find. We also learned how to streamline our process to eliminate unnecessary aspects. We also learned a lot about HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

What's next for Connect2Give

Connect2Give can expand to further rate each non-profit based on which ones need more help and effort. This can guide volunteers and donors to contribute to a specific cause that needs help.
