many CS majors and gen Z are introverted - this can help ease them out of their comfort zone and practice and develop the necessary soft skills they need to advance their career without the pressure of passing their interview, the stakes of making a good impression, or their hackathon prize on the line.

what it does

provides an AI voice agent who will role play as hackathon judges, networking tech professionals, or your interviewer so you can practice your soft skills! customizable to the user's situation via text input.

how it's built

react + vite for front end; retell ai api for ai voice agent; procreate for drawings;

challenges

ran into trouble using the retell api, couldn't complete all the features planned - but will continue working in the future!

alpha accomplishments

first solo project! done in basically a day while juggling rehearsal homework and travelling lol (got carsick)

how to use MUI react components; better understanding of typescript (and why its better than javascript); learned why vite is better than create-react-app;

add feedback - line by line analysis of tone, confidence, filler words; add predicted outcome - won the prize, passed the interview, made a good impression; stats over time - show progress and improvement and gain achievements; study body language via a webcam - more communication done non-verbally; improve UI to be more kawaii ofc;
