Inspiration
I've always had a that problem, whenever working on different projects for clients. Having one central and reliable place to store them can come in very handy. This is how Client-Creds was born, to ensure a compliant and safe way of handling business related credentials on behalf of clients.
What it does
It stores client project credentials with their associated application url in a central credentials repository. The User enters the credential set and they can later retrieve it for use on the project.
How we built it
It was built using React and the Skyflow API.
Challenges we ran into
The requests do fire off on the CLI, and I've written out and checked the code, everything seems to be on board, but when I send the request I get a RBAC Denied error, which might be related to the Service account or user rights from the app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The basic frontend is built out, although without authentication but the hope is that, from P.O.C. we can move to some sort of MVP.
What we learned
Skyflow is a nice API, and it could go a long way helping with compliance especially, and the fine grained control was also nice.
What's next for Client-Creds
Hopefully debug the Role Based Access Issue and get it running on a live link. And see if we can have a product after that.
