Inspiration

We wanted to explore how Web3 commerce can be applied to everyday retail, especially fashion. Many fashion creators struggle to sell directly to customers without heavy platform fees or limited payment options. We were inspired to build a simple but functional fashion store that demonstrates how crypto-ready commerce can work in practice.

What it does

The project is a fashion-focused e-commerce store that allows creators to showcase products, manage a modern shopping experience, and prepare for Web3/crypto-based checkout. It demonstrates a creator-first retail flow using familiar e-commerce patterns while being adaptable to decentralized payments.

How we built it

We built the project using WordPress and WooCommerce as the commerce foundation, paired with a modern, responsive theme for fast development. The store includes product pages, cart, and checkout flows, and is structured so Web3 or crypto payment logic can be integrated seamlessly.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was time. With a tight hackathon deadline, we had to focus on speed, stability, and clarity instead of over-customization. Learning and configuring WordPress and WooCommerce efficiently while keeping the scope realistic was also a key challenge.

What we learned

We learned that Web3 ideas are most effective when paired with familiar user experiences. Starting with a solid, conventional e-commerce flow makes it much easier to introduce new technologies like crypto payments without confusing users.
