Inspiration

Our inspiration stemmed from a deep PERSONAL understanding of the challenges that immigrants face when preparing for the naturalization test and the desire to make the path to citizenship more accessible and inclusive.

What it does

Our app, CitizenPrep, is not just another study tool; it's a comprehensive solution that addresses the unique challenges faced by immigrants during their test preparation. With CitizenPrep, we're setting a new standard for efficiency, accessibility, and inclusivity.

How we built it

We leveraged Swift and SwiftUI to create a working proof of concept application.

Challenges we ran into

Minimizing the scope of our idea as well as having too many ideas that we weren't able to implement in time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to learn Swift and SwiftUI to create a working demo was an exciting leap in our technical knowledge. We are also very proud of our collaboration, and being able to be very flexible and open minded with ideas despite all coming from different backgrounds.

What's next for CitizenPrep

Being able to implement more learning methods, and more efficient translation through the use of Google AI Translation is a big goal of ours. We would like to continue growing our knowledge and scaling CitizenPrep.
