I've wanted to learn how to make games for a very long time and I figured Hack the Anvil was the best place to give it a chance. I'm really happy I took the time this weekend to work on this project as I have learned a lot and look forward to doing this more in the future.

This game was a product of me not knowing what game to make. I started with a simple 2D backdrop, laid down the controls and the rest was history (kinda). Some key features (things I attempted to learn) include:

-Robots that use AI to chase the player around the map. -Including a wave-spawing feature and increasing difficulty. -A point-and-click shooting mechanism (functional, but does not affect anything). -Collision detection for both the player and the AI wandering the map. Used both corner-collision and Rectangle-collision approaches. -2D Tile system to make/update the map. -All original pixel art done on Adobe Photoshop
