CancSaver

Inspiration

The World today has many challenges, we took up one such topic “Cancer”, After studying and researching about it we have been inspired to build an app “CancSaver” to help cancer patients all over the world, we believe the works produced by our inspiration can lit the candle of hope for everyone on this planet battling cancer.

What it does

It has many features like AI chat bot, Live chat(doctor and patient), Skin Cancer Detection, Emergency contacts, Blogs, make a profile, Notes, Games, Suggested hospitals, Home workouts, Medicine requests, Health analysis, Nutrition, Daily activities, BPM, Health tools, Jokes, About Cancer, About Us. Every time the user opens the app, the user is greeted with his name and quotes which refresh everyday in the home page.

How we built it

We built it with the help of a website known as Thunkable which has a drag and drop interface and block coding for making applications.

Challenges we ran into

The time constraint and the large amount of work to be done put us in a lot of stress which resulted in minor mistakes while we made the app but we managed to avoid large errors and corrected the minor errors which were made at the last minute.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Able to complete the project within the given time limit. Collaboration and exceeding levels of team coordination is something that helped us to complete this project and something of which we’re proud of.

What we learned

We learnt about how cancer is a national and a health issue and how it affects people globally.

What's next for CancSaver

The AI chatbot can be upgraded further. The Live Chat enables users to only chat but we can bring in voice recording messages and calling the doctor as well. The interface can be further improved for easy access and some features which are less popular can be replaced or merged with other features.

NOTE!!: The "Try it out" link might not working as expected as our app is too big for the website to load, you can see the code but cant use it live mostly + Its a link to fork our project, that's the only way you can view the code. Normal project page doesn't even load. We did it because we were the project developers.
