Inspiration
We were inspired by the idea of interactive chat bots that allow users to have private conversations.
What it does
BuildWell is a mobile app that provides construction workers with constructive feedback on their mental health and the steps they can take to improve it. Simply take a brief survey when clocking in and out of work and BuildWell will analyze the mood and text of the worker. Workers will then receive feedback and can continue to chat about the status of their mental health if they desire to. If a major mental health check up is necessary, managers will be notified to address any issues privately via a separate source where they can manage employee's mental health statuses.
How we built it
We are building our app with Expo and React Native. We are utilizing OpenAI's GPT LLM model for the chat bot aspect and language analysis. We are also using MorphCast's resources for facial emotion detection to gain a deeper insight into how workers truly feel.
