Introduction -

Bodhi will be a B2B service that allows farm product transportation services and farm product marketplaces to integrate their entire supply chain on the blockchain. This will allow transportation services and marketplaces to understand where they are getting food wastage from and then they can efficiently devise a solution to decrease the amount of food wastage. Also, this will allow transportation companies to become more transparent to their customers which will be added benefit to them as customers globally are wanting the services and products they use to be as transparent as possible.

The Problem -

We will allow marketplaces and transportation services to remove the mutability of paper with the immutability of the blockchain. What happens currently is that many people play a part in the supply chain of transportation companies and all of the management work between these people and throughout the supply chain happens on paper which causes 2 main problems- 1) A huge stack of papers get formed at the end of the supply chain and organizing and using it to gain relevant data is very hard. 2) Paper is Mutable so the data received from it cant be entirely trusted . Because of these 2 problems transportation services aren't able to pinpoint where does the problem lie which causes more food to get wasted again and again. Along with this, the business receives fewer products than they required due to which the farmers get less pay than was promised to them and the transportation service also feels a loss because now they have fewer products than their customers required.
