Inspiration

Staying productive is hard when you’re overwhelmed. We wanted a cute, low-pressure way to help people start small and feel proud of progress.

What it does

Blopa Focus is a micro-goals productivity app where you complete tiny tasks and prove them with a photo. When the AI validates your action, your Blopa pet grows and evolves.

How we built it

We built a simple UI with a FastAPI backend, used MongoDB to store users/tasks/creature state, and connected an AI validation workflow to verify uploaded photos before updating the pet’s evolution.

Challenges we ran into

Handling image uploads smoothly, validating tasks reliably with AI, and keeping the app fast and responsive while waiting for AI results.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A working end-to-end loop: upload → AI validation → reward → creature evolution. Plus a cute, motivating UX that makes productivity feel like a game.

What we learned

How to connect AI validation into a real app pipeline, manage image-based workflows, and design motivation systems that encourage consistency without pressure.
