Inspiration

Social media is broken, not just the ads model, but there is no longer a genuine connection amongst people, people don't root for each others success and be with them in their failures, the camaraderie is dead. I want to change that, and bring in a better version which creates a win-win-win situation

What it does

It lets users buy and sell social coins, which basically are coins connected to individuals, for example Elon Musk coin, Justin Bieber coin, Rihanna coin etc. Famance is basically a combination of Fame and Finance

How we built it

I built it by first coming up with a minting curve, the logic of buying and selling, smart contract based reward systems, why someone should use it, how it will create a positive impact in the ecosystem. I coded it up learning everything from scratch, and I have an exceptional amount of passion for this.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was that there wasn't anyone helping me or guiding me on the way, I did it all from scratch and by myself, learning all the concepts, how to code etc.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I built what can be called the worlds most stable coin. It is basically just an index of multiple stable coins but it hasn't been invented yet, we were the first.

What we learned

Everything from scratch, I learned coding making websites, the frontend and backend, a lot of brute forcing and absorbing everything I could get my hands on. With no external help I built it from scratch

What's next for Famance

Next I am building smart contract based reward systems for Famance. Basically meaning for example the top 100 investors get to have a lunch with the celebrity, the top 1000 get free concert tickets, the top 10000 get exclusive content and much more.
