BeetleBot

HackBU was my first Hack-a-thon, I am a mechanical engineer so I made a mini robot. It has two momentary switches on the front that the "feelers" are attached to, it is powered by battery pack which also makes up the body of the beetle, the wheels are powered by DC motors. This video demonstrates the robot roaming and when it hits something with one of the "feelers" the momentary switch is depressed which turns off the wheel on that side. This causes the Bot to turn and go in a new direction. As soon as the momentary switch is released power to the wheel is resumed and the Bot zooms off on its next adventure.
