The beauty industry is booming, but counterfeit and unverified products are everywhere online. This not only hurts customer trust but also puts consumer health at risk. We wanted to build BeautyProof, a platform that gives users undeniable proof of product authenticity and helps them track their beauty journey with confidence.

What I Learned

How I Built It

Frontend with React 18 + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS for a clean, pastel UI.

Routing and navigation with React Router v6.

XION SDK to integrate zkTLS verification and blockchain-backed proof.

Hosted live on Vercel for fast deployment and easy sharing.

Challenges

Making blockchain-backed proofs feel “invisible” so users don’t face a steep Web3 learning curve.

Designing a mobile-first UI that feels modern, trustworthy, and easy to use.

Integrating technical trust concepts (zkTLS, proofs, attestations) into a simple, relatable beauty product experience.
