The age-old expression is once again voiced--
"Which method of entrance is prudently choiced?"
From much speculation a case doth egress
And after review we're obliged to confess:

There's not a more marvelous way to announce
Your arrival to everyone there in the house
Than by playing theme music with volume cranked high,
With singing and dancing and family nearby!
A fitting hoopla for this day of the Pi.

Attacca is a pair of services that enables you to have your theme music played out of your computer (perhaps a Raspberry Pi connected to your stereo) as soon as you enter your house. One service runs on an internet-accessible server; the other runs on the music-playing computer. The computer polls the server to find out when you arrive at home. In order for the server to know when you arrive at home, you also configure an application for your smartphone that uses the phone's geofencing features to detect when you arrive and send an HTTP request to the server. The computer then finds out from the server that you have arrived and begins to play your configured music.
