All Ears creates a platform for constituents to come together for a community oriented purpose while providing an avenue that connects constituents to their local representatives, giving their purpose a voice.
The founders, all seventeen years of age, realized there was a lack of opportunity for local citizens to make an impact in their community, as well as a lack of communication between local citizens and their community leaders. We hope this service provides a place that encourages change, but also provides a place for citizens to take action.
What can you do?
-Post about an issue affecting your community In these posts, users can submit pictures, videos and texts to describe the issues at hand. With an increase of views, the post can make it to the "Popular Page". This page is targeted at local representatives who can then see the most popular issues in their community and use this knowledge to structure their upcoming agenda. The page utilizes each user's location to automatically adjust the Popular Page to a range of distance around the user (this range can be edited in settings)
-Create a Petition and Fund your Project If you don't want to wait for a local representative to see your post, take it a step further and create a petition with a signature goal. Once you reach your goal you can download your petition and send it directly to your local representative. BONUS Want to raise funds? Add your fundraising goal in your petition. The funds can directly work towards your cause.
-Browse and Connect Don't have a particular issue at hand? Find one you can connect to! Browse recent submissions for new posts, or check out the popular page to find what issues are big in your community!
