When you need to change the size of things but it's not the same as resizing because there is different proportionality you want to maintain for some design asset
What it does
9 slice scaler helps to change width and or height proportions of non-shape graphic assets while maintaining the proportions of edges and corners.
How we built it
In adobe express code playground
Challenges we ran into
Figuring out difference betwee what to run in the iframe code vs document code. The adobe expresss UI is incredibly dense and noise with panels always flying out etc. adobe expresss also uses a ton of memory slowing down development on low end laptops.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Prototyped and to video in about 3 hours.
What's next for 9 slice scaler
Better UI, guide approximation detection, more slice controls, better integration for more dynamic real time feedback, other tiling features.
