When and where is it?
It starts on April 8 at 10 am, and will end on April 9 at around 2 pm. The address is 6600 Dumbarton Cir, Fremont, CA, 94555.
Do I have to stay the entire 24 hours?
Nope! You can come and go whenever you want for most of the hackathon. However, doors will close at 7 pm on Saturday. After that time, nobody is allowed to leave or enter the building until 9 am Sunday, when the doors open again.
How much will this cost me?
This event, including food, swag, and awesome prizes is completely free!
Do I need a team?
You may have a team before the event, make a team during the event, or code on your own.
Do I need any programming experience?
You may want to know the basics, but nothing is required. There will also be workshops where you can improve your skills.
Who can attend?
Any high school student may apply for and attend the main hackathon.
What should I bring?
- A laptop
- Chargers
- Blanket or pillow/Sleeping Bag
- Deodorant + Toothbrush + Toothpaste
- Any hardware that you cannot hack without or that your hack is based on
Will there be overnight adult supervision?
Yes, there will be a security guard and about 10 adult mentors with the participants overnight.
