Postponed Winner Announcement

The PartyRock generative AI Hackathon closed on March 11, receiving over 1,400 submissions from over 130 countries around the globe.

Due to this record-breaking number of submissions the official winner announcements will now be made on April 15 in order to provide the judges additional time to review all of the great PartyRock app projects submitted by you, the PartyRock community! The judging panel is dedicated to giving each and every project appropriate consideration as they determine the category and overall winners.

Submission video tips for PartyRock Virtuosos

Hey PartyRock Virtuosos,

We know as devs and innovators, your expertise normally lies behind the scenes, but the (optional, but recommended) submission video needs time and care, too! It's often the first thing that judges review. Your video can tell the story behind your project and provide a clear avenue to showcase your talent and, most importantly, your application. 

 

Prep a quick script so you know what you’re going to say and don’t forget to include:

  • how your project meets the hackathon requirements and judging criteria
  • tools you used in addition to PartyRock (if any)
  • problem your project addresses

OPENING UP THE PARTYROCK GENERATIVE AI HACKATHON BY AWS

Hi everyone!

PartyRock is all about learning, experimenting with gen AI, and having some fun building an app. We are happy to announce that we’re opening up the hackathon to a few more countries/regions: Mexico, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Spain, Germany, and Argentina (except for provinces of Mendoza, Neuquén, Rio Negro, Salta, and Tierra del Fuego). 

We also modified the age requirement to be at least 18 years old in any country or region and clarified Section 8. Prizes to more clearly explain that AWS Prize Credits will be issued to the winning Entrant’s nominated account used for the Submission.
