Calling all Streamlitters!

If you’ve been itching for a new feather in the cap of your magical AI application, this challenge is for you.

Be the first to explore Snowflake Arctic – a truly open source and radically efficient foundational LLM from Snowflake. We found Arctic to be pretty great at coding (watch it build a Streamlit app right here!), as well as SQL generation and instruction following. We think you’ll have some real fun with it!

Arctic ships with an Apache v2.0 license so you don’t need to ask for permission to build with it, and a cookbook of open training recipes that allow you to look under the hood of how the top foundational LLMs in the world are made. We hope that this emphasis on openness will help you choose more efficient fine tuning approaches and build smarter AI applications – all in Streamlit of course.

Mostly, we want to see you push this model to its limits. What is the best application of Arctic that you can imagine? Surprise us!

Check out a live demo on Streamlit Community Cloud [and it's source code on GitHub]!
