By downloading or using Rectangle Pro ("the Software"), you agree to the following terms between you and Ryan Hanson.
1. License Grant & Usage
- Device Limits: A standard license grants you the right to install and use the Software on up to three (3) devices at any given time.
- Bulk & Consolidated Licenses: If you have been issued a consolidated license key, your device limit is restricted to the specific number of seats authorized by Ryan Hanson at the time the consolidated key was issued.
- Ownership: The Software is licensed, not sold. Ryan Hanson retains all intellectual property rights.
- Restrictions: You may not redistribute, sell, rent, or lease the Software. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code.
2. Updates and Feedback
- Updates: Ryan Hanson may provide updates or new features. Some may be free, while others may require a separate purchase at his discretion.
- Feedback: If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant Ryan Hanson the right to use those ideas without compensation or credit.
3. Disclaimer of Warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." RYAN HANSON DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. RYAN HANSON DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
4. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RYAN HANSON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. IN ANY CASE, TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE.
5. Termination & Governing Law
- Termination: This license is effective until terminated. Your rights automatically terminate if you fail to comply with any terms.
- Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of California.
- Severability: If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
