It’s not just about the finished piece.
It’s about the magic of being witnessed as you create it.

Every artist will have their own custom QR code displayed beside their workspace, so guests can follow, connect, and reach out — even after the event is over. Whether your piece sells or not, your presence will be remembered.

Whether you’re looking to sell, build confidence, meet other creatives, or reignite your creative spark — this is your night.

How much is entry for artists?

Artist entry is $10-$20 depending on venue and to cver costs of admin.

Studio Session #1 key dates and times.

Artist Applications close: Sunday 1 March 2026

All artists will be contacted shortly after applications close.

If selected, you’ll receive full event details and a link to submit your $10 participation fee, which will be due by Tuesday 3 March 2026.

Final Event - 4 April 2026. 
Artist bump in and setup from 4-5pm. 
Doors open 5pm. 
Artists creating from 5-8pm. 
Art auction from 8-9pm. 
Pack down from 9-10pm.

What if I finish my pieces early?

I did think about artists potentially finishing their pieces early.

The live creation window is roughly 2.5-3 hours, and then in the last hour we’ll be putting the artworks up on display and running the auction.

Your first piece will be the one included in the auction, and you’re absolutely welcome to keep creating if you finish early. Any additional pieces you make on the night are yours to keep, and you’re more than welcome to sell them later on your own socials or platforms.

Can I bring a piece I’ve already made?

A: No — all work must be created live on the night. That’s the magic of The Studio Session.

What type of art is allowed?

Accepted Answer

A: We accept all visual art forms — painting, drawing, mixed media, digital, textiles, and more. No sound or performance art at this time.

Do I need to bring my own materials?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Bring everything you need to create your piece. We provide tables, chairs, and some easels on request.

How much will I earn if I sell my artwork?

Accepted Answer

You keep 95% of the final sale price. We retain 5% to cover admin and processing. You’ll be paid within 3 business days.

What’s the minimum sale price for artwork?

All pieces must have a minimum price of $100, whether you choose fixed pricing or “Pay What You Think”.

Each event is limited to 20 artists only, to keep the experience intimate and immersive.
