Fancy Fence Beanie
Fancy Fence Beanie
This pattern requires an art fiber for the full effect. However, you may get creative by using multiple strands of yarn with varying thickness to obtain a similar look. You need approximately 4-5 yards only. However, if using multiple strands, keep in mind you will need about 4-5 yards of each strand. About 60 yards of tonal, solid or semi-solid super bulky yarn is used for the main color.
Watching Waves Beanie
Watching Waves Beanie
This pattern made me think of my relaxing getaways on the shore watching waves while my husband fished. There are directions for four weights of fiber: light bulky, bulky, light super bulky and super bulky. I’ve included the range of yardage used across all four weights. The gauge is for stockinette 10cmx10cm. One skein of each weight is all you need with some yardage left over. Finished beanie measures 8”wide by 9” tall and looks great with or without an added faux fur pom. Links for video tutorial and QR codes are provided and pictures are in notes for special stitch.
Ma Belle Camille Beanie
Ma Belle Camille Beanie
The Ma Belle Camille Beanie was designed with my daughter in mind. Camille has always taken risks and many times has been successful. She’s a scientist, teacher and dancer. She is a lesson to us all: reach for our dreams without fear; we are all multi-faceted. The Ma Belle Beanie shows the waves of her curls and the twists and turns in life that result in intricate, beautiful texture.

Ravelry Wheat Mitts

This is a longer fingerless mitt pattern designed to let just the tips of your fingers poke out. It will fit most female hands. Adjustments to length can be made by increasing or decreasing the amount of wheat stitches. The wheat stitch measures approximately 1.5 inches/4cm. The fiber used is very stretchy so width adjustments are not likely. I used Malabrigo Rasta for this pattern ~ A super bulky yarn. I recommend using a similar yarn if substituting. You will need 3 Double Pointed Needles in size 10.5US/6.5mm and 3 Double Pointed Needles in size 11US/8mm. Malabrigo comes in approximately 90yds so one skein is enough. If using another type of super bulky yarn, you will use approximately 70yds/117grams for the pattern as written.

The Wheat Beanie uses less than one skein of Malabrigo Rasta or other super bulky yarn.
