When new Lifers first arrive at the REAL LIFE recovery houses, they often arrive with no money to purchase basic necessities, like food. You can help make their transition a bit easier by providing a REAL House with non-perishable food items such as snack foods, meals, breakfast foods, canned goods, and coffee to share with the new Lifers.

Through our partnership with The Market at 25th, we’ve made it easier than ever to help stock a REAL LIFE house kitchen for new Lifers! Each Stock the Kitchen Box costs $120 and provides essential groceries for one house for an entire month.

How to Order:

By Phone:
Call (804) 396-2239, press 0 for customer service, and let them know you’d like to order a REAL LIFE Stock the Kitchen Box. Be sure to request an email receipt. The Market will hold your box until we arrange pickup.

Online:
Order directly from the Market’s website. When asked for an address, enter 1330 N 25th St, Richmond, VA 23223—this ensures the box stays at the Market until pickup is arranged.

Volunteer Hour Verification:
To receive credit for your volunteer hours, simply forward your receipt to [email protected] and confirm how you need your hours recorded.

Assembling Your Own Box?
Make sure it contains enough food to feed at least two people for one month. Once packed, email [email protected] to arrange drop-off. Below is a list of suggested items, though feel free to come up with your own ideas.
