Terms of Service

Last updated: December 18, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BEHAVIQ (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

BEHAVIQ is an AI chat experience informed by behavioural science, evidence‑based practice, and professional expertise. The Service may include optional voice features (speech‑to‑text and text‑to‑speech), retrieval over knowledge bases, optional web search, and optional external tool integrations.

2. Safety and professional judgement

BEHAVIQ provides guidance informed by behavioural science, evidence based practice and professional expertise. It is designed to support communication, awareness and decision making.

This tool does not replace professional judgement, training, organisational policy or specialised advice. It cannot verify the full context of a situation and should not be relied on as the sole basis for any safety critical or legally significant decision.

Users remain responsible for how they interpret and apply the information provided. BEHAVIQ is an educational and advisory resource only and does not guarantee specific outcomes.

If you are in an emergency or someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (for example, 911/000) and follow your organisation’s procedures.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

4. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you must not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
  • Attempt to interfere with the Service, access data you are not authorised to access, or bypass limits or security controls.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use (including copyrighted or confidential materials without permission).
  • Use the Service to generate or distribute malware, exploit code, or instructions for wrongdoing.

6. Content you provide

You retain your rights to content you submit to the Service (“Input”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit your Input solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for your Input, including ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to provide it.

7. AI outputs

The Service generates responses (“Output”) which may be incomplete, incorrect, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for evaluating Output before relying on it. Output is generated from patterns and tools; it is not a substitute for professional advice or organisational policy.

8. Billing, subscriptions, credits, and gifts

Some features require an active paid subscription and/or prepaid credits. Payments are handled by third‑party payment processors (such as Stripe).

  • Subscription: billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. Included usage limits apply per billing period.
  • Credits: prepaid credits may be consumed when you exceed included limits; credits may have restrictions or expiry as shown at purchase time.
  • Gift purchases: gift subscriptions or vouchers may be available; they may be non‑refundable once issued, subject to applicable law.

Taxes may apply depending on your location. All fees are non‑refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated at the point of purchase.

9. Third‑party services

The Service depends on third‑party services (for example, cloud hosting/storage, AI generation, email delivery, and payments). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies. If you enable optional web search or external tool integrations, requests may be sent to third parties outside our control.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Subscription cancellation is handled via the billing portal.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.
